1. Definitions

  • "Software" refers to the CSARhunter desktop application
  • "Service" refers to the CSARhunter website and related online services
  • "CSAR Computers", "we", "us" refers to the provider of the Software and Service
  • "User", "you" refers to any person who registers for an account or uses the Service
  • "Practitioner" refers to the healthcare professional operating the Hunter NLS device

2. Nature of the Software

CSARhunter is overlay automation software designed to work with Hunter NLS 4025 devices. It is important to understand that:

  • CSARhunter is NOT medical software and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease
  • CSARhunter does NOT modify the Hunter software in any way
  • CSARhunter is an automation tool that executes treatment protocols as configured by the practitioner
  • The practitioner remains fully responsible for all clinical decisions, assessments, and treatment outcomes

3. Software License

3.1 License Grant

Upon approval of your registration and subject to these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the CSARhunter software.

3.2 License Scope

  • The license is tied to a specific hardware device (machine-based licensing)
  • The license may not be transferred, shared, or sublicensed without written permission
  • The software requires periodic internet connection for license validation
  • An offline grace period of 48 hours is provided for temporary connectivity issues

3.3 Restrictions

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
  • Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the software
  • Redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit the software
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
  • Use the software with unauthorized or unsupported hardware
  • Attempt to circumvent license validation or security measures

4. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All registrations are subject to review and approval by CSAR Computers
  • We reserve the right to reject or revoke any registration at our discretion
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

5. Practitioner Responsibilities

As a user of CSARhunter, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are a qualified practitioner or operate under the supervision of one
  • You are solely responsible for all patient assessments and treatment decisions
  • You will verify treatment parameters before initiating automated sessions
  • You will monitor treatments during automated execution
  • You will comply with all applicable local laws and regulations regarding NLS therapy
  • You will not make medical claims based on CSARhunter output

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • CSAR Computers is not liable for any treatment outcomes, health-related consequences, or damages arising from the use of the software
  • The software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the software
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the software license in the preceding 12 months

8. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms
  • We may suspend or terminate your account for misuse, fraud, or illegal activity
  • You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us
  • Upon termination, your license to use the software is immediately revoked

9. Updates and Modifications

  • We may update the software at any time to improve functionality, security, or performance
  • We may modify these Terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance
  • Material changes will be communicated via email or website notification

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the Netherlands.
